About
Like many, my foray into photography began as a child when my parents generously allowed me to click and wind a few frames on their camera. Family friends were impressed with my compositions and thereafter I was entrusted with shooting more reels of film.
My first use of a digital camera was at school in 2002, where I was given the responsibility of shooting for the yearbook. I continued to prove my enthusiasm for capturing images by hijacking my parent's point-and-shoot. Soon after, I was fortunate enough to be gifted my first DSLR. That was 11 years ago, and I've been shooting manual ever since.
These days, I work with professionals to create visual assets for their businesses. I also work with people who may be captured on camera often yet may not have much experience modelling for stills, such as actors and dancers. No matter who it is, I relish the shared success of elevating someone from camera shyness to feeling like a rockstar by the end of a shoot. I live for the challenge, and this can be what makes working with people so rewarding.
In the end, I feast on producing work that is useful, communicative, and aesthetically pleasing. Work that I can be proud of. I'm on the journey to making bigger and better things, and I'd love for you to join me.
